Angry Mob Artists on Intercall Lounge

 

Angry Mob Music recently partnered with music branding company, Inspire Entertainment, to promote our artists through a music initiative known as the Intercall Lounge. Intercall is the world’s leading business conference calling facilitator. Intercall’s client base is comprised of 94% of the Fortune 100 companies and 88% of the Fortune 500, with around 1.7M conference leaders in 75K organizations. Here’s what the campaign does: While callers are waiting on hold for their business conference calls to begin, callers are introduced to 6 new and emerging artists as well as promoting the artists through the Intercall Lounge website. Previous artists that have been involved in this campaign include: The Civil Wars, Gregg Lasswell, Zee Avi, and Neko Case. Each month a new slate of potential artists are voted on by Intercall’s customers & clients. The winning artists are then featured as the following month’s 6 artists. Last month, Angry Mob artists Karmina and Lelia Broussard were in the 6. This month, we have Jesse Glick, Glen Iris, and Bryan Brown in the running. Even if you or your company are not clients of Intercall, you can still vote for your favorite at the Intercall Lounge website!

Karmina: Residency Wrap-Up

Angry Mob artist Karmina recently concluded a month-long residency at Molly Malone’s. Headlining each Friday night in April, sisters Kelly & Kamille performed hits from both their CBS record, “Backwards Into Beauty,” as well as a number of crowd favorites from their most recent release, “Car Train Ship Plane.” As a reward to any returning crowd members, they also introduced a new song written prior to each week’s show. Always keeping it lively, energetic, and positive, the girls engaged their loyal fans while introducing their brand of “sparkle-pop” to new ears who, by the looks of the dance floor, introduced their feet as well! South Carolina-born singer-songwriter John Pringle has been captivating audiences across the country and overseas with his unique brand of cinematic folk-rock, ever since the release of his debut album, “Midnight Mass on the Williamsburg Bridge”, in 2007.

Often referred to by fans as “the next American David Gray”, Pringle’s raw, powerful vocals, deeply personal lyrics, and haunting melodies make up songs that are full of vibrant imagery and intense feeling. From bittersweet ballads to upbeat anthems, Pringle’s music explores the themes of love, loss, hope and heartache with a rare combination of strength, sensitivity, and emotional honesty, channeling influences such as Eddie Vedder, Ryan Adams, and Bob Dylan in the process.

On April 3, 2012 this amazing performer will perform a set with his full band at Piano Bar in Hollywood (6429 Selma Avenue). Show starts at 11pm.

Karmina: April Residency at Molly Malone’s

Angry Mob artist Karmina will be performing each and every Friday night in April at Molly Malone’s! The girls of Karmina, Kelly & Kamille, will be teaming up with Rich Jacques and the rest of the Right The Stars bunch for this residency. Tatiana: While We Wait for the Upcoming Album…New Music!

After a recent Los Angeles visit that included a successful performance at Hotel Cafe, former TAT front-woman, Tatiana DeMaria, is back in NYC to put the finishing touches on her upcoming solo album. While waiting for that album to be dropping later this Spring, Tatiana recently released both an acoustic EP of popular TAT songs as well as a solo-acoustic Adele cover.
